Welcome to Pinehaven Farm

Field Trips

At Pinehaven we do all of our farming without the use of chemicals.  Learn first hand about many of the steps involved in Christmas Tree Farming.  As part of the tour you will learn how to plant and care for young pine seedlings.  Each member of a reserved group will receive a small seedling to take home and plant.

Your group will get a "Real" farm experience on our real working farm.  At Pinehaven we have many of the favorite animals you may remember from Grandpa's farm (cows, chickens, ducks, goats and turkeys) as well as some rare & endangered farm breeds.

Group tours include a trolley ride around the farm on our custom built "Trolley-style" wagon.  You'll see a variety of demonstrations about the activities involved in the operation of our farm.

Pack your lunch and plan to stay and eat in the picnic shelter.  You'll be hungry after spending the morning on the farm.  You'll enjoy the play space and other activities to keep everyone busy in between the segments of your field trip; or to burn off excess energy before you go home.  You'll see lots of antique farm equipment from days gone by.  There's lots of informative demonstrations at Pinehaven Farm.

Group Farm Tours are educational and fun for schools, child care groups and scouts.
